
Regular visitors to this site (i.e. me) know how I feel about apologies for slavery, but this one is interesting. The following are a few friendly suggestions for those legislative folks over in Alabama:
1. Look at Brown University as an example - raise money for something positive, like education
2. Make sure the vote is unanimous
3. Get rid of, I don't know, say...Confederate Memorial Day
As a side note, who exactly were the seven that voted against this? Were they just caught up in the Confederate Memorial Day mood? Did they want to wait a few hundred more years before they felt really sorry?
