3. A week after John McCain praises how safe Baghdad streets are, the Parliment building is the subject of a suicide bombing attack. Just one example in a career of backing the wrong horse.
4. Kurt Vonnegut, one of the last relevant living author's left in the world, dies at 84. Rest In Peace.
5. An African Union peacekeeper was killed by unidentified gunmen in Darfur. The thousands of deaths in Darfur make every week the worst week ever, and six other peacekeepers were killed this month. There needs to be something done about this, and we shouldn't wait another day.
